Tell me a little about your immigration law team.

Farrell Law Group's immigration and nationality law practice is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. We primarily serve the greater Research Triangle Park region including Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and surrounding communities.

Because immigration law is federal and not state law, we can represent clients regardless of where in the United States they are located. In fact, we can represent you regardless of whether you are in the United States or outside. We can help people from any country in the world.

Our immigration practice team consists of attorney Jim Melo, with paralegals Jessica Lopez and Augusto Pasco. All of us are dedicated to serving your immigration law needs. Our immigration team has experience with varied business and family immigration matters including difficult cases which were rejected when the client tried to handle their matter without representation by an attorney.

What will you charge me and how do I know I won't be overcharged?

When we take your case, we make a personal commitment to getting it done right the first time. For most matters we commonly handle, we quote you a flat fee-that means you know up front what you will be paying us. We offer you the convenience of credit card billing. We charge fair and affordable fees based on current market conditions for your type of case. We can translate basic documents from English to Spanish at competitive rates. We never mark-up any fees you have to pay the government or foreign credential evaluator or DNA laboratory.

Can you help someone who does not speak English?

YES. We understand what your immigration case means to you. Our immigration practice group includes immigrants who have personally experienced the immigration process. Jessica is native Spanish speakers who can translate documents or interpret from Spanish to English or English to Spanish. If we do not speak your language, we will gladly work with a trusted adult who can interpret from your language into any of the languages that we do speak.
